    Description

    We are looking for a dedicated Logistics Coordinator to join our team past the Short Pump, Virginia area. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting efficient end-to-end movement of goods within the supply chain. This role ensures timely, accurate shipments and collaborates closely with warehouse and customer service teams to resolve issues and maintain smooth operational flow. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to grow within a dynamic and supportive environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure on-time delivery.

    + Prepare and verify shipping documentation.

    + Identify and resolve shipping or transportation issues such as delays, damages, or routing errors.

    + Ensure compliance with transportation, safety, and regulatory requirements.

    + Analyze logistics processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

    + Partner with warehouse and customer service teams to support order fulfillment.

    + Monitor order flow to maintain accurate and timely processing and shipping.

    Requirements

    + Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles is preferred

    + Experience with logistics or transportation management software is preferred

    + Knowledge of shipping procedures and documentation

    + Solid analytical abilities, including interpreting reports and identifying process improvements

    + Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with internal teams and external partners

    + High attention to detail and accuracy

    + Effective problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

    + Ability to work collaboratively and maintain a positive, solution-oriented approach

    + Comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines
