Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Concord, California. In this role, you will handle certified payroll processes, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining the highest degree of accuracy. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the efficient management of payroll operations within the service industry.

Responsibilities:

• Manage certified payroll processes with precision and compliance to meet government requirements.

• Utilize Points North and other payroll applications to process and verify payroll data.

• Handle payroll for over 500 employees, ensuring timely and accurate payment.

• Maintain alliance relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

• Address and resolve payroll discrepancies, ensuring all data is organized and error-free.

• Upload payroll data to relevant platforms, ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping.

• Process prevailing wage calculations and ensure adherence to applicable labor laws.

• Support payroll cleanup efforts, identifying and eliminating duplicated records.

• Contribute to the improvement and streamlining of payroll operations to enhance efficiency.

• Provide expertise in full-cycle payroll using ADP Workforce Now and other systems. Requirements • Proven experience in full-cycle payroll management, particularly certified payroll.

• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and other payroll systems.

• Strong understanding of payroll processes for large organizations with over 500 employees.

• Knowledge of prevailing wage calculations and compliance requirements.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail when managing large volumes of data.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.

• Familiarity with Points North or similar payroll applications is preferred.
