    Description

    Our client is seeking highly skilled Senior Accountant to oversee complex accounting tasks, support financial reporting, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals with advanced knowledge of accounting principles, strong analytical abilities, and leadership experience in managing key financial processes.

    Responsibilities:

    + Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities

    + Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports

    + Manage general ledger reconciliations and journal entries

    + Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

    + Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls

    + Assist with audit preparation and respond to auditor inquiries

    + Mentor and support junior accounting staff

    + Collaborate across departments to resolve accounting issues

    + Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred

    + 5+ years of professional accounting experience, including roles of increasing responsibility

    + Strong understanding of GAAP and regulatory reporting requirements

    + Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

    + Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills

    + Detail-oriented with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines

    + Experience in public accounting and/or corporate finance is a plus
