Description

We are looking for a skilled Controller to oversee financial operations and ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting processes. This role is requires someone with a keen eye for detail, expertise in managing financial records, preparing reports, and implementing sound financial controls. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent leadership capabilities, and the ability to support and guide office staff.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, to ensure timely and accurate processing.

• Supervise sales transactions to ensure alignment with company financial policies and standards.

• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to provide actionable insights.

• Implement and maintain financial controls that safeguard company assets and minimize risks.

• Ensure compliance with tax laws, industry regulations, and reporting requirements.

• Assist in preparing documentation and reports for external audits.

• Oversee daily operations by delegating tasks and managing team performance.

• Provide direction and support to office staff in their day-to-day responsibilities.

• Handle account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support organizational goals.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, general ledger systems, and financial reporting software.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience in intercompany reconciliations and cash handling.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• High attention to detail and accuracy in all financial tasks.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.

• Familiarity with QuickBooks.
