Description We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Property Accountant to join a reputable real estate company in Southfield, Michigan. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a growing organization and gain valuable experience in property management accounting. Responsibilities:

• Prepare comprehensive financial statements and support account reconciliations for multiple entities during period-end closings.

• Record accurate journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation.

• Assist in reviewing, coding, and approving invoices for payment processing.

• Provide financial data and documentation to support real estate acquisition and disposition transactions.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and organizational policies.

• Collaborate with property managers and regional leaders to address financial needs and investor reporting requirements.

• Perform additional accounting and administrative tasks as needed to support team objectives. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited university with a minimum GPA of 3.2.

• Proficiency in preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.

• Familiarity with accounting practices in the property management industry.

• Strong Excel skills, including the ability to analyze and manipulate data effectively.

• A collaborative team player with a proactive and adaptable approach to tasks.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize responsibilities.
