    Position Summary: The Senior IT Applications Manager is a key leader within the Information Technology organization, responsible for driving the strategy, governance, and optimization of enterprise applications that enable critical business processes. This role oversees the Oracle Fusion HCM and associated modules (Payroll, Recruiting, HCM, etc.) platform and related technologies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. The Senior Manager leads a global team of developers, analysts, and technical specialists (both onshore and offshore), fostering innovation and operational excellence.

    Essential Functions:

    Strategic Leadership

     

    + Define and execute the roadmap for Oracle Fusion HCM & associated modules and related applications to support business growth and transformation.

    + Partner with senior business leaders to identify technology opportunities that improve efficiency, compliance, and user experience.

    + Influence enterprise architecture decisions and ensure alignment with IT governance and security standards.

    + Lead strategic initiatives through internal and partner led teams to ensure on time, on budget project execution.

     

    Operational Excellence

     

    + Oversee the configuration, optimization, and integration of Oracle Fusion HCM modules (HCM, Payroll, Recruiting).

    + Ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability through proactive monitoring and engagement with Oracle Support and Product Development.

    + Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging Pike’s technology stack and best practices.

     

    Team Development & Leadership

     

    + Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of IT professionals, ensuring career growth and succession planning.

    + Establish clear performance metrics and SLAs to meet business needs and deliver exceptional service.

    + Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation across global teams.

     

    Governance & Compliance

     

    + Ensure adherence to data privacy regulations, security standards, and internal policies.

    + Maintain robust documentation for functional requirements, technical designs, test cases, and UAT execution.

     

    Stakeholder Engagement

     

    + Serve as a trusted advisor to business units, providing subject matter expertise and guiding technology decisions.

    + Facilitate roadmap discussions, governance forums, and change management activities.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + 8+ years of progressive experience in IT applications management, including leadership of ERP solutions.

    + Proven expertise in Oracle Fusion ERP across multiple modules (HCM, Payroll, Recruiting).

    + Strong background in business process analysis, system configuration, and solution delivery.

    + Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, balancing speed, scalability, and security.

    + Experience with HCM workflows and business processes

    + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.

    + Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

    + Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
