Occupational Therapy Fellow, First-Shift, First Shift
UC Health is hiring a full-time occupational therapy fellow for the Outpatient PT & OT department for the first shift at the UC Gardner Neuroscience Institute.
The Fellow will develop individualized treatment programs consistent with patients' diagnosis, status, and goals while establishing goals and plans of care that include realistic and measurable goals in relation to the patients goals, diagnosis, prognosis, learning ability of patient/caregiver, physical/mental status and anticipated lifestyle.

Clinical Experience
+ Please describe a meaningful experience in LGBTQIA2s+ health that has prepared you for both the clinical and academic aspects of this fellowship.
+ Please describe your experience working with interdisciplinary teams to provide inclusive, well-rounded care. How have you worked collaboratively with other healthcare providers, such as physicians, nurses, social workers, and mental health professionals, to ensure the best outcomes for your patients? How have you taken initiative in the past to promote the need for occupational therapy for a client to a team?
Scholarship (Research and Education)
+ What type of educational activities have you led for community members, peers, OT faculty, or other medical professionals? Were any of these activities relevant to LGBTQIA2S+ health?
+ What type of scholarly project or research topics are you most interested in pursuing in a fellowship? How does your previous academic work inform or prepare you for this project? How do you see this project helping you move into a future role?
Advocacy
+ How do you measure the impact of your advocacy and service efforts? Can you describe how you have evaluated the effectiveness of your past advocacy work, and how you have used this information to inform future efforts?
Future Career
+ What are your future career aspirations and how do they relate to the LGBTQIA2S+ community? How do you plan to use your training and skills to address health disparities and improve healthcare outcomes for LGBTQIA2S+ individuals?
