Job Description
Looking for a highly motivated and creative Instructional Designer who will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As the Instructional Designer, you will work along aside key stakeholders to develop learning content that is engaging, innovative, and enhances the learning environment. You should be familiar with proven models of design, adult learning theories, and delivery modalities while also showing curiosity about new trends of learning, exploring new ways of doing things to delight the customer, and being technologically adept. Our Instructional Designer will also be a skilled communicator, with an acute ability to uncover customer needs and translate them into viable learning solutions. Candidates should be highly adaptable, comfortable working in ambiguity, and willing to challenge the status quo. This position provides hybrid work arrangement.
Responsibilities:
• Being accountable for all facets of learning development including needs assessment, design and development, and successful delivery of learning content that aligns with business and learning objectives
• Delivering high-quality learning enablement solutions that promote a blended learning approach
• Keeping abreast of new learning theories and assisting with developing pragmatic strategies and continued improvements to enhance the learning environment
• Providing insight when developing learning assets using a mix of knowledge, data, intuition, and adult learning theory
• Building awareness and acting as a Subject Matter Expert in educating stakeholders on new learning tools, techniques, and delivery modalities
• Providing daily support and ongoing maintenance of the Learning Management System
• Act as a change agent by embracing new ways of learning and remaining current on new learning technologies (i.e. LMS, Content Providers, and eLearning tools)

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Adult Learning, Instructional Design, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of instructional design experience, including e-learning design methodologies
• Proficient with office productivity tools
• Proficient in learning management systems, terminology, and designing to learning industry standards (e.g., SCORM/AICC)
• Skilled in using learning development tools such as Articulate 360/Storyline/Rise, Camtasia, Captivate, Vyond, and other content development tools
• Demonstrated success in applying the principles of instructional design and learning & development methodologies
• Able to mentor others and provide guidance on instructional design techniques
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to rapidly changing deadlines and needs

This is a Contract position based out of Earth City, MO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
