    As the Technical Specialist, you will support the manufacturing and process development teams by managing the administrative aspects of tooling fabrication builds and ensuring technical documentation is properly formatted, published, and maintained within the Quality Management System (QMS).

    Job Description

    We are looking for a **Technical Specialist** to support the manufacturing and process development teams by managing the administrative aspects of tooling fabrication builds and ensuring technical documentation is properly formatted, published, and maintained within the Quality Management System (QMS). This is a **full-time, contract role** and is **on-site** .

    What You'll Do

    + Fabrication Management & Quoting

    + Oversee and coordinate the administrative workflow for fabrication builds, including tracking progress, updating stakeholders, and ensuring timely completion

    + Prepare, review, and manage quotes for fabrication projects, working closely with engineering and procurement teams

    + Maintain detailed records of builds, changes, and approvals to support traceability and compliance

    + Serve as the primary point of contact for build status updates and issue resolution

    + Technical Specification & Documentation

    + Format, publish, and manage technical documents, specifications, and work instructions in accordance with company and industry standards

    + Ensure all documentation is properly controlled and published within the Quality Management System (QMS)

    + Collaborate with process engineers and subject matter experts to gather, clarify, and update technical content

    + Support audits and compliance activities by ensuring documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and readily accessible

    + Continuous Improvement

    + Identify opportunities to streamline administrative and documentation processes

    + Participate in cross-functional meetings to support project planning and execution

    + Provide feedback and recommendations for process enhancements

     

    What You'll Need

    Required:

    + Experience in manufacturing, engineering administration, or technical documentation preferred

    + Strong organizational and communication skills

    + Familiarity with QMS platforms and document control best practices

    + Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management systems

    + Experience with CAD drawings and modeling

    + High school diploma or equivalent required

    Physical Demands

    + Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

    + Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

    + Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

    $35.00-$40.00 per hour

     

    The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
