Job Duties and Responsibilities
The project managers handle one to two initiatives and/or vendors associated with Echostar. They create project plans and status in accordance with Echostar standards and bring together cross-functional internal and vendor resources to deliver on project objectives. They also communicate project status in multiple forums to all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Support in the alignment of project goals with the overarching objectives of the program
+ Develop project schedules that identifies key phases, activities, and deliverables
+ Identify and communicate project dependencies
+ Report on the financial performance of the project (e.g., monitoring hours, expenditure variations)
+ Escalate resource needs based on project scope and schedule performance
+ Develop project reports that highlight recent accomplishments, project timeline, and escalated risks/issues with appropriate action plans
+ Observe project team dynamics, resolving any minor challenges and escalating concerns where arguments impact project progress
+ Follow and utilize established project management methodology and tools
+ Assist in development of a project charter including key performance indicators, assumptions, and major milestones
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education & Experience:
+ Minimum Bachelor's degree, ideally with a focus on Project or Program Management or relevant degree
+ Minimum of 2 years in a project or delivery management role
Skills and Qualifications:
+ Ability to establish trust and rapport with team members and business partners
+ Highly developed oral and written communication skills
+ Ability to create executive level presentations summarizing the status of projects
+ Excellent organizational and time management skills
+ Ability to identify and analyze opportunities and risks, and then develop suggested action plans

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $63,150.00/Year - $90,000.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
