Senior Director, Product Ops
**Reports to:** VP, Product Operations **Location:** Pittsburg or Austin or Santa Clara
Position Summary
We are looking for a **Senior Director, Product Ops** , to join our team as Omnicell transforms medication management across all settings of care. To achieve this goal, we are looking for a strong operations leader who can connect strategy to data-driven execution.
The ideal candidate brings a blend of strategic leadership and disciplined program execution ensuring high standards in delivery; someone who can drive business outcomes for a modern product organization focused on insights, scalability, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Program Management Excellence and Cross-Functional Collaboration
+ Serve as the executive liaison across Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, Finance and Manufacturing/Ops to align on project outcomes and metrics.
+ Oversee strategic product and cross-functional projects, ensuring clear scope, measurable outcomes, and execution discipline through standardization of stage gates, readiness reviews, and performance tracking.
+ Implement program governance frameworks to anticipate risks, remove roadblocks, and communicate program status to senior leadership clearly and consistently
Build Scalable Data Tooling for Insights & Decision Support
+ Oversee integration and optimization of product lifecycle and analytics tools (roadmaps, telemetry, CRM, ServiceNow and BI platforms).
+ Build and maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks to provide visibility into product performance, roadmap health, and customer outcomes.
+ Use data to optimize planning, execution velocity, and value delivery, from concept through launch, sustainment, and retirement. Embed metrics and analytics into governance processes to enable fact-based decision-making and faster iteration.
Team Leadership
+ Build and lead a high-performing team, ensuring clarity of mission, role accountability, and professional growth.
+ Establish a center of excellence for operational best practices, data analytics, and program execution.
+ Coach and develop talent to strengthen strategic thinking, data literacy, and operational rigor across the organization.
+ Shape a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement, empowering teams to act with ownership and impact.
Strategic Impact and Organizational Effectiveness
+ Continuously assess and optimize execution effectiveness across programs and initiatives.
+ Use data and analytics to identify bottlenecks, improvement opportunities, and efficiency gains across the product organization.
+ Communicate outcomes and impact clearly to executive stakeholders—linking operational performance to business growth.
Qualifications
Experience:
+ 15+ years of experience in Product Operations, Program Management, or Strategy within a technology-driven organization (SaaS, enterprise software, or similar).
+ Proven track record leading data-informed product or business operations at scale — translating analytics into actionable strategy.
+ Demonstrated success overseeing complex, cross-functional programs and driving measurable business outcomes across product, engineering, and commercial teams.
+ Experience designing and managing product operating models that connect strategy, execution, and performance measurement.
+ Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, go-to-market readiness, and business performance metrics (ARR, retention, adoption, margin, etc.).
+ Strong fluency in data analytics, KPI frameworks, and performance dashboards for product and program management.
+ Ability to evaluate and optimize processes, tools, and governance structures that enable efficiency and insight. Hands-on experience with analytics and business intelligence ecosystems (e.g., Salesforce, Tableau, Looker, Power BI, Gainsight, Jira, Aha!, or similar tools).

+ Executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across Product, Engineering, Finance, and GTM leadership.
+ Strategic thinker with a data-driven mindset and deep understanding of how to translate insights into operational excellence.
+ Exceptional ability to simplify complex data into clear narratives and recommendations for executives and cross-functional teams.
+ Demonstrated ability to foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across diverse teams and initiatives.
+ Skilled in leading organizational change, embedding data literacy, and building cultures of evidence-based decision-making.
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field preferred; MBA or equivalent preferred.
+ Additional certifications in Program Management, Agile, or Product Management a plus.
