Job Description
Our Float LPNs don’t just provide exceptional nursing care, they build relationships that last a lifetime. You’ll have the flexibility to work across multiple residential locations, ensuring variety in your day and the opportunity to impact many lives. Float LPNs have a regular schedule, but may be assigned to any of our eight high medical locations throughout the week.
+ Day (6:30am-2:30pm) and Evening (2pm-10pm) schedules consist of 4 weekdays + every other Saturday & Sunday.
+ Overnight (9:30pm-7:00am) schedules consist of 3 weekdays + every other Saturday & Sunday.
What You’ll Do
As a Float LPN, you will:
+ Deliver high-quality nursing care, including medication administration, treatments, and assessments
+ Support individuals in achieving their personal goals, from daily living skills to community outings
+ Promote choice, dignity, and inclusion in all aspects of care
+ Educate and mentor Direct Support Professionals and Nurses
+ Monitor health status, respond to emergencies, and coordinate care with families, providers, and the team
+ Document thoroughly in electronic health records (Therap)
Requirements
+ Active LPN license in Minnesota
+ Current CPR and First Aid Certification
+ Valid MN driver’s license with acceptable record
+ Ability to lift/transfer 60 lbs. occasionally
+ DHS background clearance
+ Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
