    Data Center Logistics Technician

    About the Role

    We are seeking a Data Center Logistics Technician to join our team in Sandston, VA. This role is critical to ensuring smooth operations within our data center environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in logistics processes specific to the data center industry, including inventory management, shipping/receiving, and coordination of hardware deployments.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Manage inbound and outbound shipments of IT equipment and related materials.

    + Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely updates in tracking systems.

    + Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for hardware deliveries and returns.

    + Ensure compliance with data center security and handling protocols.

    + Assist with staging, racking, and cabling of equipment as needed.

    + Troubleshoot logistical issues and implement process improvements.

    Qualifications:

    + Experience: Minimum 2 years in logistics, preferably within a data center or IT environment.

    + Strong understanding of supply chain and inventory management principles.

    + Familiarity with data center operations and hardware handling best practices.

    + Ability to lift and move equipment safely (up to 50 lbs).

    + Excellent organizational and communication skills.

    + Proficiency with inventory tracking tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

    Preferred Skills:

    Experience with ERP or asset management systems.

     

    Knowledge of shipping regulations and vendor coordination.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sandston, VA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $42.00/hr.
