    Position: LTS LOTE Teacher - Spanish (Posting number 2526-3556)

     

    Dates: December 18, 2025 - February 20, 2026

     

    Requirements: Must have NYS Certification as a 7-12 Spanish Teacher

     

    Salary: As per current Webster Teachers Contract, as well as education and experience

    We strongly welcome candidates with the following qualifications:

    + New York State 7-12 Spanish Certification

    + Strong knowledge of the newly adopted NYS World Language Standards and ability to implement them in the classroom

    + Strong utilization of the target language during instruction

    + Excellent integrity and demonstrate good moral character and initiative

    + Candidates must have knowledge and understanding of child growth and development, effective instructional strategies, classroom management, learning assessment and diagnosis, and research related to learning

    Responsibilities:

    + Provides comprehensive instruction in the District approved World Language curriculum

    + Integrates study of Spanish-speaking peoples and cultures

    + Integrates speaking, reading, listening, and writing in the target language with engaging instruction.

    + Maintains accurate and timely student records available for teacher, student or parent reference

    + Demonstrates a deep and rich knowledge of subject area and the ability to convey it to the students

     

    Salary: As per current Webster Teachers Contract, education and experience
