The Inside Sales Area Sales Manager (ASM) manages all inside sales and account management efforts for assigned GE Appliances builder/distributor customers. Inside Sales ASMs work toward achieving specified sales targets and goals and provide world-class customer experiences while ensuring quality and consistency of product delivery for their account portfolio.

How You'll Create Possibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Develop rapport with customers and actively solicit new opportunities through teamwork and alignment with National Sales Directors. from initial call to close while achieving and exceeding assigned quarterly and annual sales targets.
+ Execute and deliver all sales and margin operating plan goals.
+ Implement proactive call schedule to increase sales growth and productivity, achieving and exceeding assigned quarterly and yearly sales targets.
+ Analyze market, sales strategies and current competitor products to create account plans.
+ Identify new business opportunities and develop marketing strategies to grow account portfolio.
+ Use digitization tools and Microsoft Dynamics to improve overall sales effectiveness.
+ Lead all post-sale administration efforts.
+ Work with Headquarters teams to ensure orders, returns, damage/scrap issues are resolved. Handle customer concerns as requested.
+ Perform other duties/responsibilities as assigned.
+ Attend Trade Shows as requested.
+ Process orders, train participants on appliance features and functionality.
What You'll Bring to Our Team
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or related field
+ Minimum of five (5) years prior relevant experience.
+ Experience in developing, organizing and implementing sales plans that support business objectives.
+ Ability to build and grow strong customer relationships.
+ Proven negotiating skills; must be tenacious at driving sales to obtain results.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as presentation skills
+ Strong initiative and ability to work independently; must be self-motivated and driven to succeed.
+ Ability to interface with all levels of management as well as peers.
+ Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
+ Prior appliance sales experience strongly preferred.
+ Previous sales experience strongly preferred.
+ Proven understanding of the dynamics of the builder industry.
+ Experience selling to multiple segments/channels that include distributor, builder, multi-family and government.
