Job Title: Informatica/IICS/IDMC Support Engineer
Location - Duluth, GA- 3 days/ week

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Informatica/IICS/IDMC Support Engineer to maintain the health and performance of our cloud-native data management platform. The ideal candidate will provide expert-level technical support, troubleshoot complex integration issues, and ensure the continuous, reliable flow of data across the enterprise landscape.
Key Responsibilities
+ **Incident and Problem Management:**
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for incidents and service requests related to IICS/IDMC jobs, mappings, and data pipelines, adhering to established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
+ Perform comprehensive root cause analysis (RCA) for complex data integration failures and performance bottlenecks.
+ Work within an ITIL/ITSM framework to manage and document incidents, problems, and changes.
+ **Platform Monitoring and Maintenance:**
+ Monitor the operational status of the IDMC platform components, including data integration mappings, tasks, and secure agents.
+ Conduct routine system health checks, manage environments, and coordinate upgrades or patch deployments as required by Informatica releases.
+ **Technical Support and Collaboration:**
+ Provide advanced technical support to development teams and business users on issues related to data accuracy, connectivity, and platform functionality.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data engineering, architecture, cloud infrastructure) to resolve complex, end-to-end data flow issues.
+ **Documentation and Knowledge Management:**
+ Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including runbooks, knowledge base articles, and operational procedures.
+ **Automation and Optimization:**
+ Utilize scripting languages (e.g., Python, shell scripting) to automate routine monitoring tasks, health checks, and alerts to improve operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications & Skills
+ **Experience:** Proven professional experience in a production support role, with hands-on experience supporting data integration platforms, specifically Informatica PowerCenter and/or IICS/IDMC.
+ **Technical Skills:**
+ Proficiency in writing and tuning SQL queries, with strong experience in various relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
+ Solid understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data warehousing concepts, and data governance principles within a cloud environment.
+ Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and integrating data across diverse cloud and on-premise sources.
+ **Soft Skills:**
+ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
+ Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $ 110-140K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
