    **MANTECH** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Lead Product Management Engineer** to join our team in **Herndon, VA** .

     

    In this role, you will support a program that delivers a wide range of customer IT services, with a focus on creating productive, collaborative computer workspaces—whether new or renovated—to meet evolving mission needs.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    + Lead strategy and implementation of product lifecycle and roadmap tools to improve asset management, procurement efficiency, and customer experience.

    + Analyze asset usage and trends to recommend lifecycle actions that reduce O&M costs, supported by vendor roadmap insights and monthly vendor engagements.

    + Partner with key vendors to automate and digitize product data, ensuring accurate attributes and streamlined workflows.

    + Provide end-to-end engineering services across VOIP, AV, workstations, mobility, networks, enterprise tools, and ServiceNow.

    + Collaborate with Requirements Managers, corporate components, and stakeholders—using Analysis of Alternatives—to define requirements and deliver low-risk, cost-effective solutions.

    + Drive innovation by identifying and implementing automation opportunities; develop and maintain SOPs and process documentation; and support technical/process changes across a complex, multi-location enterprise environment.

    + Work as part of a team operating between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM, ensuring 8 hour shift coverage within the required hours.

    + Performing HR duties as assigned, including but not limited to: interviewing, hiring, career enablement, performance counseling, compensation planning, and requisition creation.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma with 11+ years of experience, or an Associate’s Degree with 9+ years of experience, or a Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years of experience.

    + Leadership experience in prioritizing, planning, and successfully delivering multiple projects in parallel and in cooperation with a production environment with a large engineering and operations staff.

    + Demonstrated expertise providing oral and written communication to the highest levels of management while providing technical leadership to engineering and operational teams.

    + Demonstrated experience with development, implementation, and optimization of technology life cycle processes.

    + Demonstrated experience working with staffing and recruiting to align personnel for the contract.

    + Candidate should have a desired mix of technology, new business proposals, supporting senior management, and technical writing (white papers, point of view documents).

    + Experience using Agile engineering practices.

    + 5+ years direct knowledge of the customer’s operational environment.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + 5 years’ experience directly related to IT Service Management, Design, and Delivery in engineering roles, with projects valued at $20 million annually.

    + ITIL® v4 Foundation, or higher, certification.

    + Experience with ServiceNow ITSM, ITMB, ITAM, ITOM.

    + Experience with Tableau & Splunk Analytics.

    Clearance Requirements:

    + Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph

    Physical Requirements:

    + Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time. Constantly operate a computer, phone, and other office equipment for extended periods of time.

    + Must be able to move/traverse within and between buildings and offices, position self to maintain equipment and cabling, including under the desks, while moving floor tiles, and in server closets, some of which may be confined spaces.

    + Must be able to move Audio/Visual or Computer equipment weighing 50+ pounds, some equipment may require team-lift or the use of carts. Ascends/descends a ladder, 10+ feet high while pulling cables and adjusting equipment.

    + Capable of operating hand tools and test equipment.
