Clinical Medical Assistant – Primary Care/Urgent Care

Locations: Gig Harbor, Tacoma, South Bend, Olympia, WA

Pay Range: $28–$30/hour (based on experience)

Position Overview:

We are seeking Certified Clinical Medical Assistants to join our team across multiple locations. These roles support Primary Care and Urgent Care clinics, providing high-quality patient care and assisting providers in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Prepare patients for exams and procedures

+ Take vital signs and document patient information accurately

+ Assist with minor procedures and administer medications as directed

+ Perform lab draws and point-of-care testing

+ Maintain clean and organized clinical areas

+ Support providers with patient flow and scheduling

Requirements:

+ Current Washington State Medical Assistant Certification

+ Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a healthcare setting

+ Strong communication and organizational skills

+ Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Schedule & Start Date:

+ Full-time positions

+ Monday–Friday, day shifts only

+ Start date: Approximately 2 weeks from offer

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical Assistant responsible for performing duties under the direction of a physician to assist inthe examination and treatment of patients.

Minimum Requirements:

+ High School diploma or its equivalent

+ Good telephone communication skills

+ Knowledge of medical terminology

+ Knowledge of medical procedures

+ Knowledge of clerical functions

+ Current CPR card (if applicable)

+ Current PPD or Chest X-Ray (if applicable)

+ Current Health Certificate (if applicable)

+ Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program; certification preferred

+ Minimum of one year relevant experience preferred.

+ Relevant certification/ license if applicable.

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
