About the Role
We’re seeking a dedicated Speech-Language PathologyAssistant (SLPA) to provide essential support to students in acollaborative school environment. This short-term assignment offers anexcellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working alongsideexperienced professionals.
Key Details
+ Duration: 2 months
+ Schedule: 5 days/week, 8 hours/day
+ Local Pay Rate: $45/hr
Responsibilities
+ Assist in delivering speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
+ Support students in achieving their IEP goals.
+ Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes.
+ Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
Minimum Requirements
+ Graduate of an SLPA program with an associate’s degree OR bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology or communication disorders.
+ Successful completion of 100 hours of supervised field work or equivalent clinical experience as required by state/contract.
+ Current certification or licensure as an SLPA in the state of practice.
+ Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
+ Preferred: One (1) year of prior professional SLPA experience.
+ TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable).
+ Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
+ Must be at least 18 years of age.
