Job Title: Mild/Moderate Special Education Teacher

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Pay rate: $55-65 an hour - Negotiable depending on experience

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team and provide exceptional educational services to students with special needs from kindergarten through grade 12. Under the guidance of the Special Education Program Administrator, you will play a vital role in creating inclusive learning environments and supporting student success.

What You’ll Do:

- Deliver high-quality instruction tailored to individual student needs.

- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to develop and implement effective student programs.

- Provide specialized instruction, tutorial assistance, and consultation to ensure academic and social growth.

- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and professional standards.

What We’re Looking For:

- Education Specialist Instruction Credential

- Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred).

- Preferred endorsements:

- Standard Elementary Teaching

- Standard Secondary Teaching

- Standard Special Teaching

- Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1)

- Experience: Minimum of one (1) year in a teaching environment or three (3) years in applied behavioral analysis (preferred)

- Additional Requirements:

- Current CPR certification (if applicable).

- TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable).

- Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation).

- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.

- Must be at least 18 years of age.
