    The Senior Supervisor, Maintenance is responsible for leading the maintenance team to ensure optimal equipment reliability, safety, and performance across the New Ulm TTH manufacturing site. This role oversees preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

    Your key responsibilities

    + **Team Leadership:** Supervise maintenance technicians, set performance expectations, conduct evaluations, and foster a culture of accountability and safety.

    + **Maintenance Execution:** Oversee daily maintenance operations including troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment upgrades. Ensure timely response to breakdowns and minimize production disruptions

    + **Planning & Scheduling:** Collaborate with the Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to develop and execute maintenance schedules. Prioritize work orders and coordinate resources to meet operational needs

    + **Inventory & Procurement:** Ensure availability of spare parts and supplies. Work with the Maintenance Parts Specialist to manage inventory and vendor relationships.

    + **Documentation & Reporting:** Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and performance metrics. Provide regular updates to site leadership

    You bring

    + **Education:** High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or related field preferred.

    + **Experience:** Minimum 3–5 years in maintenance supervision, planning or related field within a manufacturing environment. Experience with CMMS systems preferred.

    + **Skills:** Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance software. Knowledge of safety regulations and maintenance best practices.

     

    The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Salary range is from $91,300-95k.

     

    In addition to base salary, we also offer a comprehensive total rewards package, inclusive of annual incentive pay, a retirement savings plan, health care coverage, paid time off, recognition programs and a broad range of other benefits. All benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements.
