    We are looking for a hands-on CPQ Technical Administrator to support the configuration, technical maintenance, and integration of our Tacton CPQ platform. This role is critical in ensuring the CPQ system remains aligned with evolving business needs across the Enclosures Segment.

     

    As the technical backbone of the CPQ solution, you will manage configurations related to workflows, approval logic, pricing models, quote document generation, and integrations with connected systems including Salesforce, ERP, and pricing tools. You will work closely with product model developers to ensure overall platform coherence.

    WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

    + **System Administration** Maintain and configure the Tacton CPQ platform to support quoting processes, pricing, approval flows, and user roles.

    + **Approval Workflows** Configure and update approval rules and routing logic based on business requirements.

    + **Pricing Configuration** Support the implementation and maintenance of price models within Tacton CPQ in collaboration with Pricing and Commercial teams.

    + **Document Generation** Design and maintain quote document templates, ensuring alignment with brand standards and regional needs.

    + **System Integration** Manage and troubleshoot API-based integrations between CPQ and connected systems (Salesforce, ERPs, PriceFx, React app, distributor platforms).

    + **Testing & Deployment** Conduct testing of new features, changes, and bug fixes; support deployment cycles and ensure quality assurance.

    + **User Support & Training** Provide second-line support to CPQ users and collaborate with the CPQ Manager on user enablement.

    YOU HAVE:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field

    + Ideally 3+ years of experience in technical administration or configuration of a platform (Tacton CPQ preferred)

    + Solid experience with APIs and system integrations

    + Familiarity with AWS environments and React-based applications

    + Familiarity with pricing structures and workflow logic

    + Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

    + Experience generating structured output documents (quotes, PDFs, etc.)

    + Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently

    Pay Transparency

     

    nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

    Compensation Range:

    $62,900.00 - $116,900.00

     

    Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
