Job Description
The Product Line Manager for Camelbak plays a pivotal role in shaping the brand’s product strategy and execution. This position is responsible for driving innovation, aligning product initiatives with business objectives, and ensuring seamless coordination across internal teams. The role requires a strong understanding of consumer needs, market dynamics, hydration and outdoor gear categories, licensor management, and operational workflows to deliver compelling product assortments. Success in this role hinges on strategic planning, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining brand integrity and partner relationships.
As the Product Line Manager, you will have an opportunity to:
**-** Lead the product development and lifecycle management for the Camelbak product line, including hydration packs, bottles, drinkware and outdoor accessories.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, development, engineering, marketing, sustainability, and sales to ensure product success.
- Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify opportunities for new products and improvements to existing products, with a focus on hydration, athlete performance, and outdoor recreation trends.
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with company goals, financial targets and customer needs.
- Manage the product development process from concept to launch, including defining product requirements, creating project plans, item setup & maintenance in PLM, building sales & marketing materials, and overseeing execution.
- Oversee the creation, management, and optimization of item copy, product photography, enhanced content, and visual assets across shared platforms such as Salsify or Camelbak-specific content management systems.
- Monitor product performance and gather customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
You have:
+ A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
+ 3-5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the sports or outdoor industry.
+ Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
+ Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
+ Experience with product lifecycle management and go-to-market strategies.
You might have:
+ Experience in the adventure sports industry.
+ Familiarity with the CamelBak brand and it’s product line.
+ Familiarity with PLM systems like Centric or Oracle

Pay Range:
Annual Salary: $72,000.00 - $90,000.00
The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
