    Job Description

    Insight Global is hiring a Clinical Assistant for our client's residential mental health and behavioral health center. The facility offers short-term, intensive treatment programs for both adults and teens struggling with mental health disorders, substance use, self-harm, and other behavioral challenges. This individual will be responsible for providing patient supervision and supports staff/unit activities as assigned.

    Key Duties

    Activity based: meet with the therapist and clinical team members. Can anticipate running treatment groups - talking about feelings/emotions in a circle. Therapists will guide the conversation, and the assistant will be present. Activities include basketball, soccer, etc. Helping to get clients to their beds, giving medications, helping with notes/documenting. FOCUS IS THE KIDDOS - evening is when the fun takes place. Age demographic fall within 2 demographics:

     

    - 12-18 years old

    - 18-26 years old

    • Supervise and monitor patient activities

    • Conduct facility inspections and property searches

    • Provide clerical support (filing, phones, letters)

    • Transport patients and run agency errands

    • Attend trainings and staff meetings

    • Communicate with staff about patient progress

    • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality

    • Perform other assigned duties

    Skills and Requirements

    • High School Diploma

    • Above the age of 21 years old

    • Valid driver’s license, clean record

    • Highly professional - bright, positive attitude • Experience in behavioral healthcare

    • Prior childcare experience

    • Medical or healthcare experience

    • CPR/First Aid certifications (can get certified through the company before starting)

    • Bachelor's degree
