    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a Back End Engineering Director to join one of their top financial clients in the NYC area. This individual be joining the Dining Technology team, and will be leading a smaller team in support of both BAU and large scale integration efforts. As the dining space continues to evolve, modernize and integrate between further acquisitions, we are seeking a technical leader who can adapt quickly to an everchanging road map and architecture, providing solutions, design and overall improvements to the existing road map. While ability to adapt quickly to this technical environment is important, we are still seeking a passionate people leader who can mentor and guide the team effectively.

    Skills and Requirements

    -8+ years’ experience within software development and architecture

    -2+ years experience within leadership (should have prior experience leading and managing small teams, spending 40% days within mentorship, code reviews etc.)

     

    -Strong expertise with Python development and developing in an AWS environment

     

    -Exposure to observability tools (Datadog preferred) -Experience coming from a fintech or highly digital and consumer driven organization

     

    -Experience in a heavy web based environment

     

    -Working knowledge of Java or willingness to learn
