In Navigation and Sensor Systems, we design and manufacture state-of-the-art systems and technology that enable our customers to execute their precision navigation missions.
The Navigation & Sensor Systems (N&SS) organization is expanding to deliver the next generation of advanced military navigation solutions. Pilots fly the aircraft; our navigation systems chart the course and keep them on track. As an RF Design Engineer, you will contribute to the design and development of high-performance RF hardware that supports precision navigation across defense platforms. You will work closely with senior engineers and design teams to develop RF subsystems and have opportunities to take ownership of specific aspects of RF subsystem design and delivery.

**The Role:** In this role, you will:
+ Contribute to RF hardware design and analysis for Military GPS applications
+ Utilize RF design and analysis tools and software
+ Support engineering program activities, including data collection and analysis
+ Assist in capturing and analyzing hardware engineering requirements in the area of RF
+ Design, test, analyze, integrate, qualify and document hardware of low to moderate complexity
+ Work closely with other engineering disciplines (ie mechanical, software and systems engineering) to ensure the electrical design is appropriate for the project/product design approach
+ Work with mechanical engineers to ensure proper packaging of electronics
+ Participate in cross-functional team efforts in integration, pre-qualification and qualification for products and sub-systems of low to moderate complexity
+ Conduct troubleshooting, root-cause-analysis, and technical investigations for software/hardware designs
+ Provide engineering assistance to production, field service, and repair personnel

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent
+ Must have 2 years of experience working in Engineering or the Electronics Field
+ Familiar with RF Design at L-band frequencies
+ Demonstrated ability to apply technical expertise in RF engineering and to leverage knowledge of other related disciplines
+ US Citizen
+ Must be capable of obtaining a U.S. DoD Secret security clearance
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Experience with EM/circuit simulation tools like Keysight ADS and or AWR Microwave Office
+ Circuit board design experience including experience with schematic capture tools and PCB layout
+ Experience with EMI/EMC testing and troubleshooting
+ Testing of RF components (Filters, amplifiers, mixers, synthesizers, MMICs, oscillators)
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $70735 - $120250
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
