Summary
+ The Lieutenant will assist the Captain by performing supervision of the shift workforce; oversee and manage the security-related functions and responsibilities of the work-shift; supervise teams of armed guards and will ensure all contract requirements are adhered to.
Responsibilities
+ Provide the immediate, day-to-day, leadership, supervision and management of the subordinate personnel in the conduct and performance of security related functions and responsibilities.
+ Will carry out general and special orders for post assigned; conduct roving patrols prevent installation breaches and other OPSEC or security-related tasks
+ Will communicate via radio, telephone and orally according to orders
+ Will provide access control, traffic control and conduct walking and motorized armed security functions
+ Will be responsible for cleanliness of uniform and equipment assigned.
+ Will follow and enforce all applicable standard operating procedures, government regulations and directives pertaining to security of weapons, buildings, personnel, government property and equipment
+ Will conduct personnel, vehicular, building, & facility checks and package & parcel inspection
+ Must be able to work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays.
+ Will be responsible for subordinate performance evaluations and sustainment of subordinate training / certification proficiencies.
+ Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
+ Minimum High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
+ Speak, read, comprehend, and compose coherent verbal and written reports in English.
+ Have an approved Social Security Card issued by the Social Security Administration.
+ Shall not be in violation of the Lautenberg Amendment at 18 U.S.C. 922
+ Active TS clearance.
+ Must be at least 21 years of age.
+ Possess a valid NC driver’s license and able to operate a SUV style vehicle.
+ Minimum of one year of supervisory experience preferably with a civilian police force, military police force, or civilian security guard organization.
+ Possess a current CPR certification through the American Red Cross.
+ Successfully be able to meet physical agility standards as set forth by US Army.
