    Job Description

    The Department of Computational, Engineering, and Mathematical Sciences is seeking applications for Full/Part-time adjunct instructor(s) to teach in-person courses for the B.S. degree program in Electronic Systems Engineering Technology (ESET).

    Required Education and Experience:

    + Earned Master's degree in Electrical, Communication, or Computer Engineering or closely related fields.

    + 18 graduate hours in these fields or closely related fields from a regionally accredited institution for teaching B.S. level courses.

    + Lecture and Laboratory teaching experience (teaching assistant experience will be accepted) or related industry experience.

    Preferred Education and Experience:

    + Working towards or has earned Ph.D. in Electrical or Computer Engineering or closely related fields from a regionally accredited institution for teaching B.S. level courses.

    + Experience and interest in teaching undergraduates in a college/university setting.

    + Broad training in ESET related fields and industry experience.

    + Interest in active and collaborative learning.

    + Instructional use of technology.

    + Experience with non-traditional commuter university setting.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    + Excellent oral and written communication skills.

    + Presentation skills.

    + Ability to work cooperatively with faculty and staff.

    + Ability to respond promptly to queries from students, faculty, and staff.
