+ Responsible for overseeing the Safety Management System for IOC Dispatch, Central Load Planning, Flight Planning Support, and Crew. Providing support for managing the CLP and Dispatch ASAP and Safety Assurance (SA) programs including LOSA. Developing metrics to be utilized in the quality assurance process ensuring regulatory compliance and internal and external audit compliance.

+ Responsible for the coordination of oversight of the IOC Safety Management System, including document control of all applicable manuals to support audit requirements.
+ Coordinate feedback loops between department audits, quality assurance, and confidential reporting programs to support system analysis, hazard identification, risk analysis & assessment, risk control & mitigation and data analysis of identified and emerging risks.
+ Support data analysis applications and updates for monitoring plans associated with operational policy & procedures.
+ Support system task analysis for the IOC operational departments.
+ Ensure compliance of regulatory requirements for each operating department.
+ Oversee continuous monitoring of audit programs and validate adherence to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
+ Attend safety meetings and symposiums to foster collaboration between the IOC, external AA teams, regulatory organizations, and OA benchmarking.
+ Develop data analysis parameters to monitor the IOC safety management system and modify KPIs as necessary as risk controls and policy & procedures are updated.
+ Validate data quality and other sources of data that can be utilized for management of the IOC safety management system.
+ Review and analyze safety assurance data to improve department productivity & efficiency.
+ Develops, maintains, and updates curriculum, course materials, facilitator’s guides, and training booklets for in class and on the job training related to safety promotion & safety education.
+ Responsible for quarterly updates to the IOCPPM
+ Performs other duties as required
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
+ Undergraduate degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent experience/training
+ 3+ years operational environment experience or relevant experience
+ Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
+ 1-2 years’ experience developing and implementing Quality Assurance programs highly preferred
+ 1-2 years supervisor or leadership preferred
+ 1-2 year project management experience
+ Extensive knowledge and experience working closely with the FAA is required
+ Familiarity with working in a union environment
+ Prior training experience
+ Experience with the AA Safety Management System (SMS) including ASAP and/or LOSA
+ Thorough familiarity with all aspects of AA operations, policies, and procedures
+ Previous experience conducting operational research
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
+ Works well with minimal supervision
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Excellent interpersonal, planning and organizational skills
+ Knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills
+ Ability to multi-task and shift priorities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment
+ Ability to effectively interact with all levels within the organization from front-line employees to senior leadership
+ Ability to mentor and teach safety assurance curriculum as required by IOC operational departments
+ Ability to handle multiple assignments and complete projects on time
