    PWGC is seeking a highly motivated Senior Engineering Technician. The successful candidate will join our team of environmental and civil engineers, scientists, and geologists to provide support on site planning, sewer systems, solar projects, and environmental remediation projects. The ideal candidate will have advanced skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D 2017 or higher, and basic knowledge of site layout, grading and drainage, and utility design principles and concepts. These skills will be used to assist the project team in the preparation of site plans, permitting, volume analysis, and construction drawings.

    Responsibilities-

    Creating and modifying detailed technical drawings

     

    Providing technical advice to engineers and designers

     

    Conducting complex design work using specialized software

     

    Coordinating with various stakeholders (engineers, designers, municipalities)

     

    Ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations

     

    Preparing documentation for regulatory submissions

     

    Stormwater management and drainage design

     

    Sanitary system design

     

    Waterfront and environmental projects

     

    Site development grading and stormwater drainage conveyance design

     

    Site design including grading design for balanced cut / fill calculations and take-offs

     

    Nice to have-

     

    + Working proficiency in MS office suite programs

    + Experience with site work, grading, drainage, or underground utility design is an advantage

    + Civil 3d

    Education-

    + Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering, or a related field

    + 4-year Engineering Technology Degree with successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam

    + Associates degree with related degree orCertificate Programs in CAD or Drafting from technical institutes or community colleges with 10 + years of experience

    Skill Requirements:

    + Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D

    + Proficient in SWPPP design and report preparation

     

    Experience Requirements: Minimum seven years' experience

    Salary: 80,000-100,000, Depending on Experience
