    Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Project Manager to join their team. As a Project Manager, you will be part of the Technology and Operations department supporting multiple project initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong soft skills, adaptability, team-oriented mindset, and practical problem-solving abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    Key to this role: PMP certification, prior financial services/banking experience, experience managing the onboarding of a 3rd party vendor application / system / product

     

    **Job Title:** Project Manager

    **Location:** Richmond, VA or Kennesaw, GA, or Chicago, IL

     

    Pay Range: 60-62/hr W2

     

    Contract Length: 12+ months

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Manage end-to-end delivery of significant organizational projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.

    + Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to onboard new tools and platforms, including AI and ML models.

    + Develop and execute project plans, including scope, timeline, and resource allocation.

    + Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

    + Ensure compliance with enterprise change standards and procedures, maintaining thorough documentation and evidence.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Proven experience managing projects within a banking or financial services environment.

    + Prior experience working with vendor onboarding and cross-team coordination.

    + Strong soft skills such as adaptability, teamwork, and practical problem-solving.

    + Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.

    + Experience with AI/ML projects is a plus.
