    Bethel Lutheran Home in Madison SD is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Housekeeper in Independent Living. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and organized environment for our residents. This position is part-time, Tuesdays/Thursdays. You will communicate with the residents at the beginning of each month to determine a cleaning schedule that is convenient for them.

    Responsibilities:

    + Perform housekeeping duties in residents' homes, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms.

    + Follow established safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a clean and hazard-free environment.

    Qualifications:

    + Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial work preferred but not necessary. We will train you!

    + Ability to work independently and efficiently to complete housekeeping tasks in a timely manner.

    + Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.

    + Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with residents and staff.

    + Minimal age is 18

    + High school or equivalent education preferred
