    2025-2026 School Year Location: Berg Middle School or Newton High SchoolPosition: Volunteer Athletic CoachStart Date: At the discretion of the NCSD Director of Activities and Athletics Availability : At the discretion of the NCSD Director of Activities and AthleticsApplicants must have a valid coaching endorsement or coaching authorization issued by theIowa Board of Educational Examiners (http://www.boee.iowa.gov/) in order to coach for our District. Process of Volunteer Coach Approval:

     

    + NCSD Director of Activities and Athletics will review applicants and set up interviews for available positions

    + Criminal History Background check will take place

    Upon background check approval - Volunteer Coaches must also provide a copy of the following documents to Human Resources:

    + Iowa BOEE Coaching Certificate

    + Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Certificate

    + Transcripts from Coaching Classes

    + Driver License
