As a **Security Officer - Aero/Defense Patrol** in **East Saint Louis, IL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer in an aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identifying potential security-related concerns.

+ Monitor for any unusual conditions or activities and report findings promptly.

+ Support Allied Universal and client staff by maintaining a visible presence and offering assistance as needed.

+ Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

+ Follow all instructions and protocols specific to the aerospace and defense environment, adapting to varying working conditions as required.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles is required.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
