As a **Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver** in **Toledo, OH** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your visible presence, combined with exceptional customer service and communication skills, will contribute to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

+ Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the manufacturing and industrial location, including emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing armed patrol protocols as required.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with security-related inquiries and access control procedures.

+ Monitor and report any security-related hazards or unusual conditions observed during patrols to Allied Universal management and site leadership.

+ Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.

+ Maintain accurate records and logs of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
