• Shared Services Fees Specialist

    M&T Bank (Burlington, VT)


    Overview:

    Completes multiple task-oriented operational duties of varying difficulty and urgency required on a daily basis to ensure clients are charged accurate fees.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    + Process routine and standard transactions according to established procedures.

    + Communicate with internal business partners and related service partners as required.

    + Escalate non-standard or high risk exceptions to more experienced personnel as appropriate.

    + Prioritize and manage own workload to meet service level agreements and internal service delivery standards.

    + Identify and report all risk and compliance issues, breaches and suspicious activities to management.

    + Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.

    + Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.

    + Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.

    + Complete other related duties as assigned.

    Scope of Responsibilities:

    This position is within the WISD Fee team.

    Education and Experience Required:

    Combined minimum of 4 years’ higher education and/or work experience

     

    Comfortable operating in a team environment

     

    Experience using pertinent word processing and spreadsheet software

     

    Willing to work a flexible schedule as needed

     

    Effective verbal and written communication skills

    Education and Experience Preferred:

    Bachelor’s degree

     

    Minimum of 1 years’ experience in financial services industry

     

    Basic understanding of financial products

     

    Knowledge of pertinent Bank systems

     

    Ability to work under time constraints

     

    Knowledge of accounting principles

     

    M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $22.61 - $37.67 Hourly (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
