As a **Security Officer - Armed Facility Patrol** in **Miami, FL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and foster a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and provide outstanding customer service while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and care. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and company protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas, reporting any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

+ Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, patrol activities, and observations during each shift.

+ Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders if situations escalate or require additional support.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors within the government facility.

+ Follow all Allied Universal policies and procedures, as well as those of the client site, to maintain a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Possess an armed guard card or license.

+ Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by client.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Provide one of the following: DD214 with honorable discharge, associates degree or at least 60 college credits, police academy certificate, or corrections academy certificate.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
