As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in an educational location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a welcoming presence. You will interact with students, staff, and visitors, delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the education location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facilities and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and address potential concerns.

+ Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related hazards found during patrols.

+ Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site representatives regarding incidents or issues as they arise.

+ Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, checking credentials as needed, and supporting visitor management procedures.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
