As a **Security Officer - Entry Screener** in **Waimanalo, HI** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a bustling food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible to guests and staff. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, providing outstanding customer service, and communicating clearly. What You'll Do:

+ Greet and screen individuals entering the location to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure environment.

+ Follow site-specific policies and procedures when conducting security-related screening of employees, visitors, and/or vendors.

+ Assist with monitoring the flow of people within the food and beverage environment, reporting any suspicious behavior or incidents to the appropriate personnel.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and client guidelines.

+ Provide customer service by answering questions, offering directions, and assisting individuals as needed during their entry and/or exit from the location.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate logs of screening activities and observations throughout the shift.

+ Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and client representatives to support a secure and welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
