Description
The Sr. Program Manager will drive strategic planning and business reporting processes across worldwide grocery operations, serving as a key connection between business units while translating complex business initiatives into actionable outcomes.
Key job responsibilities
• Project manage key workstreams to facilitate annual planning and business reporting processes; develop and maintain documentation related to annual planning across worldwide grocery operations
• Support business operational review meetings, including preparing narratives that reflect collective point of view on the current state of the business (QBR, PBR, Program Reviews, etc.) for internal and Amazon senior leadership
• Partner with business teams to frame up strategic choices, collect data and insights to evaluate choices, drive recommendations, and best practice measurement to inform execution of enterprise strategy
• Identify and deconstruct business issues and develop strategic, analytical, and financial frameworks to conduct analyses and influence enterprise decisions; ensure analysis is informed by external consumer, competitive, and macroeconomic trends
• Prepare "executive ready" project deliverables and manage alignment and communication with key stakeholders
• Earn trust, establish credibility, and build partnerships with leaders across the organization
Technical Skills:
• Advanced proficiency in strategic planning frameworks
• Experience with business reporting and analysis tools
• Strong financial modeling capabilities
• Program management methodologies
Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Previous experience in grocery/retail industry

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
