Job Title: Assembly Technician

Job Description

This is a 1st shift Assembly Position supporting the chain build department. The current schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with mandatory overtime on Fridays from 6:00 AM to either 2:30 PM or 4:30 PM. There is an opportunity to work up to 50 hours per week leading up to the holiday shutdown from December 23rd to January 5th.

Responsibilities

+ Work as part of a team in a work station with three people, each having distinct responsibilities.

+ Assemble chains using hand tools and other equipment.

+ Pass the chain to the next person in the assembly line for further completion.

+ Follow instructions and ensure quality in mechanical assembly tasks.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in mechanical assembly for at least 2 years.

+ Proficiency in using hand tools.

+ Ability to read and follow assembly instructions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Good job tenure.

The facility is located in Grand Rapids, MI, and is somewhat loud due to the constant testing of AGVs. The company, known for manufacturing automated Hi-Lo's, is in the process of formalizing work instructions and updating the facility layout. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
