Job Title: Production Operator

Job Description

Join our team as a Production Operator in a Tier 3 automotive supplier environment. You will be responsible for checking and ensuring the precision of drilled holes in metal parts, using a tape measure to verify distances and sizes.

Responsibilities

+ Measure holes drilled into metal parts using a tape measure.

+ Ensure the accuracy of measurements and distances from the end of the part.

+ Perform general labor tasks including inspection, quality control, assembly, and packaging.

+ Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as calipers and micrometers.

+ Be prepared to assist in various roles such as manual machining or forklift operation as needed.

Essential Skills

+ Ability to read and understand a tape measure, including fractions.

+ Previous manufacturing experience, with the ability to be on your feet for most of the day.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in production, general labor, inspection, quality control, and assembly.

+ Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, machine operation, and forklifts.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brighton, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $17.50/hr.
