Job Title: Electrical Mechanic
Job Description
The Electrical Foreman will be responsible for installing and maintaining electrical systems in various commercial buildings throughout Long Island and NYC. The role involves bending pipes using hand benders, troubleshooting panels, pulling wire and BX cable, and reading blueprints and schematics. The candidate will work on office spaces, health and wellness centers, and recreation centers.
Responsibilities
+ Bend pipes with hand benders (90's, 45's, offsets, saddles).
+ Troubleshoot electrical panels and systems.
+ Pull wire and BX cable efficiently.
+ Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
+ Run, hang, and bend conduit according to prints or to adjust for obstructions.
+ Work independently or with a helper to ensure accuracy.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve electrical problems.
+ Bend commercial pipes as required.
Essential Skills
+ Experience as an Electrician, Lead Electrician, Electrical Foreman, Journeyman Electrician, or Jr. Electrician.
+ Proficient in bending pipes and working with BX cable.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and troubleshoot electrical systems.
+ Familiarity with smoke alarms, panels, EMT, and conduit.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ OSHA 30 certification.
+ SST 10 certification.
+ Proficiency with PPE, electrical hand tools, and cordless drills.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Queens, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
