Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

Join our team to produce highly engineered, specialized, and innovative maintenance-of-way equipment for rail-related markets. Utilize mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic assembly techniques, as well as overhead cranes and jibs.

Responsibilities

+ Assemble mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components according to blueprints and schematics.

+ Operate overhead cranes and jibs to assist in assembly processes.

+ Utilize power and hand tools to ensure precise assembly of equipment.

+ Read and interpret blueprints to guide assembly operations.

+ Perform diesel repair and electrical wiring as needed.

Essential Skills

+ 2+ years of experience in Diesel Mechanic or Mechanical Assembly.

+ 1+ year of experience in reading blueprints.

+ 1+ year of experience with Hydraulics and Pneumatics.

+ Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and reading schematics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to provide a basic set of tools including socket set and ratchets, pliers, screwdriver set, adjustable wrenches, hammers, hex key set, nut drivers, tape measure, and a tool box (ideally rolling type).

Work Environment

Work the first shift from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Use advanced technologies and equipment in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Waukesha, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
