Contract Machine Operator Opportunity

**Location:** Trenton, NJ

**Shift:** 1st Shift (Monday–Friday, 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.)

**Type:** Contract-to-Hire (through March 2026)

About the Role

We’re hiring **Machine Operators** to join our industrial machining department during a restructuring period. This is a **short-term role with strong pay and steady hours** — perfect for anyone who wants reliable work through the winter season.

What You’ll Do

+ **Set up & operate machinery** to meet production specs

+ Perform tasks like **cutting, punching, bending, drilling**

+ **Monitor machine performance** and handle routine maintenance

+ **Inspect finished products** for accuracy and quality

+ Troubleshoot and **resolve mechanical issues** on the fly

+ Follow all **safety guidelines and company policies**

+ Load raw materials, unload finished products

+ Keep **accurate production records** and report issues

+ Work with your team to **hit daily targets**

+ Use **hand and power tools** for fabrication and assembly

What We’re Looking For

+ Prior **machine operation or production experience**

+ Comfort with **hand tools, power tools, and industrial equipment**

+ Ability to **read a tape measure down to the 16th**

+ Strong **attention to detail** and mechanical aptitude

+ Physically able to **stand for long periods and lift heavy objects**

+ Team player with **good communication skills**

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.70 - $20.70/hr.
