Job Title: Automation Technician

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Multi Craft Maintenance Technicians to join our Manufacturing and Automation teams. This role involves working with state-of-the-art equipment to ensure the smooth operation of our production processes.

Responsibilities

+ Troubleshoot and maintain electrical, mechanical, and production packaging equipment.

+ Maintain robotic and electrical PLC equipment, focusing on Fanuc systems and electrical controls.

+ Perform Allen Bradley PLC troubleshooting, including logging in with a laptop for editing and limited programming.

+ Conduct mechanical maintenance on equipment such as weigh scales, conveyors, motors, and pneumatic lines.

+ Document daily maintenance activities, downtime, and repairs.

+ Carry out preventative maintenance for robotic and mechanical machinery.

+ Provide recommendations for tooling or machinery improvements.

Essential Skills

+ 2 - 4 years of previous manufacturing maintenance experience or equivalent education and hands-on experience.

+ Proficient in troubleshooting PLCs, VFDs, and both electrical and mechanical systems.

+ Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and Fanuc robotics.

+ Ability to perform both mechanical repairs and electrical troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or technical schooling preferred.

+ Robotic troubleshooting skills are strongly preferred.

Work Environment

Our facility is clean, temperature-controlled, and well-lit, though some areas may be loud. Employees are provided with hearing protection as needed. The work schedule includes a 2-2-3 shift from 6:30 pm to 7:00 am, with initial training on the 1st shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Occasional Saturday work may be scheduled. Our team culture promotes collaboration and flexibility, ensuring no employee works more than 60 hours per week or 7 consecutive days.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $79040.00/yr.
