Job Title: Packer - 2nd Shift

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Packer on the 2nd shift, where you will be responsible for assembling crates and stacking pallets used to hold energy products. This role involves carrying excess materials and distributing tools or products when needed. You will have the opportunity to become certified on equipment such as forklifts and cranes.

Responsibilities

+ Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring tapes.

+ Confirm inventory count and accuracy.

+ Complete required paperwork.

+ Perform routine and minor maintenance on equipment.

+ Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.

+ Assist with crate building and material packaging.

+ Perform related duties as needed by the Crating Manager.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with mechanical, warehouse operations.

+ Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools.

+ Attention to detail.

+ Effective communication skills.

+ Forklift operation experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Mechanical aptitude.

+ Strong problem-solving skills.

Work Environment

You will work in a non-climate controlled facility within a distribution center supporting energy products. Be prepared to stand for the entire duration of your shift. The receiving dock can be cold in the winter and hot in the summer.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
