Job Title:** **Welder Fabricator

**Location:** Cheney, WA **|** **Pay:** $20–$25/hr **| Job Type:** Full-Time | 4-Day Work Week

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator to join our team in Cheney. In this role, you will cut, weld, and fabricate custom cooling, heating, and air filtration units for installation at commercial properties including pharmaceutical labs, microchip manufacturers, universities, and automotive plants.

Responsibilities

+ Perform MIG welding and read blueprints for layout and fabrication

+ Measure and convert fractions to decimals accurately

+ Work independently with minimal supervision while coordinating with other teams

+ Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

+ Maintain a steady pace throughout the shift

+ Use mechanical skills with hand and power tools

+ Engage in wire feed welding and lift/carry heavy items as needed

+ Operate equipment including pipe threader, shear, horizontal band saw, overhead crane, and iron worker

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in MIG welding and blueprint reading

+ Accurate measuring and mathematical conversions

+ Strong communication skills

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

+ Mechanical aptitude with hand and power tools

Qualifications

+ Experience in wire feed welding, hard wire MIG welding, fabricating, cutting, measuring, and fitting

+ Ability to lift up to 70 lbs

+ Skilled in operating industrial equipment (pipe threader, shear, band saw, crane, iron worker)

+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
