    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our dynamic team and contribute to creating an efficient operation where all can thrive. The ideal candidate will possess excellent oral and written communication skills, proficiency in painting and basic hand tools, as well as strong organizational and time management skills.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform industrial painting duties productively, including preparing paint by mixing components accurately, preparing surfaces before painting, and applying specified coatings of paint.

    + Utilize conventional and high-volume, low-pressure spray equipment, motorized lifts, paint brushes, and other related equipment.

    + Apply technical knowledge of all coating materials to ensure acceptable application.

    + Report to management upon completion of work or if there are problems/discrepancies with jobs or equipment.

    + Maintain paint inventory, dispose of residual materials appropriately, and keep work area clean and organized.

    + Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with special attention to health and safety procedures.

    + Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in painting and basic hand tool skills.

    + Basic math and reading skills.

    + Strong organizational and time management skills.

    + Forklift operation skills.

    + Ability to lift 60 pounds.

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in an industrial setting utilizing various equipment such as conventional and high-volume, low-pressure spray equipment, motorized lifts, and paint brushes. The role requires adherence to health and safety procedures, and the ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Lexington, OH.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
