    Job Title: Packaging Associate - Start ASAP

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Kitting Specialist to efficiently process and package parts according to work orders. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing inventory and maintaining a tidy workspace.

    Responsibilities

    + Read and interpret purchase orders and WIP tickets.

    + Package parts according to work orders.

    + Use scales to weigh products and build packages as per purchase orders.

    + Label all packages with an inventory of contents.

    + Complete purchase orders and WIP tickets with completed kits.

    + Replenish packaging supplies as needed.

    + Maintain a neat and orderly workspace by cleaning up empty totes, cardboard, and packaging materials.

    + Inspect parts using precision and measuring tools.

    + Keep records of approved and defective units or final products and maintain activity logs.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in kitting, order picking, packaging, and material handling.

    + Proficiency with forklift operation and RF scanners.

    + Inventory management and assembly experience.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school diploma or GED.

    + 1+ years of manufacturing experience.

    + Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.

    + Capability to work at a fast pace and adhere to safe practices.

    + Skill in reading and comprehending various documents quickly.

    + Understanding and application of written, oral, or diagram instructions.

    + Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

    + Physical ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs, occasionally up to 60 lbs.

    + Capacity to stand or walk on concrete for the entire shift and tolerate fluctuating temperatures.

    + Basic computer knowledge.

    Work Environment

     

    The position is located in a new warehouse with ergonomic desk setups specifically tailored to employees' heights and shock-resistant mats for comfort during shifts. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

    This is a Contract position based out of Bondurant, IA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
